2008 PCAV State Show Jumping Qualifiers for the State Show Jumping 2009

On December 7, 2008 I entered two of my horses into the State SJ qualifiers for the State SJ Championships to be held in 2009. This event was in December, two months before the State Championships. I entered Nerreman Tatiana into the B grade section. We had a very good day, coming 1st in two of the SJ rounds and 2nd in the third round. Overall came 1st out of 4 riders.

In C grade I entered Nerreman Jack Rabbit (pony club name being Black Jack). We were having quite a good day until the last round were I let him flatten to much over a jump, knocking the rail down. If I had of collected him and gotten over the jump clear, we would of placed 1st overall out of ...... combinations, but we came 4th instead, but still qualifying. Because you can only take one combination to the State Championships, I gave up our place to the next placed rider in the C Grade Section.

2008 EFA Wandin Horse Trials

On November 29, 2008 I entered Nerreman Tatiana, into the pre novice section of the 2008 EFA horse trials at Wandin Park in November. We had an overall placing of 10th.

2008 PCAV Kyneton Horse Trials

On November 9, 2008, I entered my horse Nerreman Tatiana in the Grade 1 section at the PCAV Kyneton horse trials. There were only three riders entered that day. My dressage test was not so good, but I was still happy because we were the only combination not to break out of the medium walk before the free walk along the diagonal. We were coming 2nd after dressage.

Show jumping was good as well – a clear round. Our goal for cross country was to ride clear, especially over Kyneton's new Aboriginal apex jump. Unfortunately the rider coming 1st had a fall on the bounce jump. This meant I was coming 1st by one point. But unfortunately for me, on cross country while riding around a corner turning to a jump, my horse and I fell, we got back up though and kept riding, but because I was so worried about time, we went way too fast into a skinny mushroom jump and missed it. So my time penalties and jumping penalties led us to 2nd place overall. Even having the fall and penalties, my horse and I still enjoyed the day.

2008 PCAV Werribee Horse Trials

On September 27-28 I rode my horse Nerreman Tatiana, Grade 1 at the Werribee Horse Trials. We had one rail down in the show jumping, and one time penalty. Our cross country was clear and in good time. Overall we placed 4th.

2008 EFA Avenel Horse Trials

On September 20-21, 2008 I entered Nerreman Tatiana, in Pre-Novice in the EFA Avenel Horse Trials, in September 2008. We had a good round around cross country, our dressage and show jumping that day were not so good but my goal was to do a better round in SJ than my mentor Will E. and I achieved that!!  I also entered Nerreman Jack Rabbit into the preliminary section.

2008 PCAV Nilumbik Show Jumping Series

On September 12, 2008 the series was held at Kangaroo Ground Pony Club.

Despite not being able to attend all the events of the series overall I came xx on Nerreman Tatiana and xx on Nerreman Jack Rabbit.

2008 PCAV Nillumbik Show Jumping Series

On September 10, 2008 the series was held at Eltham Pony Club.

My B grade horse, Nerreman Tatiana, and I won the B grade Championships. We also placed 1st overall that day.

On Nerreman Jack Rabbit (pony club name Black Jack), we won the C grade Championships at the Eltham event. We came 3rd overall that day.

2008 PCAV Yarrambat Horse Trials

On September 4, 2008 I entered my horse Nerreman Tatiana in the Grade 1 section at Yarrambat Horse Trials. Overall placing 3rd.

2008 PCAV Nilumbik Show Jumping Series

On August 31, 2008 the series was held at St Andrews Pony Club.

On August 10, 2008 the series was held at Hurstbridge Pony Club.

2008 EFA PreRoyal SJ at ASEA

I competed on Nerremean Tatiana and Nerreman Jack Rabbit on August 2nd & 3rd 2008 at the Australian Sporting Equine Academy. I won the AM5 90cm on Nerreman Tatiana.

2008 PCAV NMZ Horse Trials

On July 4, 2008 I competed on Nereman Tatiana in Grade 2 at the NMZ Horse Trials held at Yeringberg.

2008 PCAV Yerringberg Team Horse Trials

On June 28-29, 2008 I entered into a team event, team consisting of 4 people from Lilydale Horse and Pony Club from Grades 5-2. I rode Nerreman Tatiana in Grade 2. Our team overall placing 3rd, in the Weber Shield section.

2008 EFA Ballarat Horse Trials

On May 10-11, 2008 I rode Nerreman Tatiana in the Preliminary section. I came 6th overall. I also came 5th in the Mitavite State Qualifier
