2010 MELBOURNE 3DE
June 11-14
Placed 5th
Recently I competed at the International horse event, Melbourne 3 Day event. Last year I had competed at this event at CCI junior one star, and I did so this year as well. Last year, I finished up at 8th. This year I managed to place 5th over all. I am very proud of my horse and I's efforts =]. Still working on our dressage haha. But I feel we have improved immensely. Even though we were competing in the juniors, we are the youngest competing in the class. We were also one of the few to do well in both jumping phases. We easily tackled a good riding cross country course and had a nice round of show jumping, with one unfortunate rail, but that one was my fault. But we all learn from our mistakes. Now looking forward to Sydney 3 day event in August, and a fundraiser horse trials a month before that just to keep us rolling.

2010 CAMPERDOWN
April 17 & 18
Today I have just completed competing at Camperdown HT. I was quite happy with the way that the weekend had turned out.The cross country course rode quite well, challenging both me and my horse, Nerreman Tatiana. The grounds were hilly, jumps were technical, both enjoyed ourselves with the challenges throughout. I'm looking forward to Lakes and Craters 3 day event coming up towards the end of the year, which will be held in Camperdown. Next upcoming event will be Ballarat horse trials on the 8th and 9th of May.

2010 WANDIN
March 20 & 21
Today, I have just completed the Wandin Horse Trials International event, riding Nerreman Tatiana CNC*. This is our first competition coming back into work. Tatiana, has been out of work for 5 months, so just getting her out and about again was the main goal. Although our dressage scores weren't great, I was pleased with the way she worked. Unfortunate rails were pulled in show jumping, but Tatiana really proved her jumping skills on the cross country, going clear, and flying through the course at an amazing speed and jumping boldly. Not a single fault from her.Our overall placing was not great, placing around halfway through the class of 40. But being the youngest pair, we were pleased as this being our first competition back in 5 months or so. We are now working towards Yeringberg horse trials and Camperdown horse trials.
